H20 Network Nerd

Hello all H20 residents.  My name is Douglas and I’ve been promoted to the building’s local network technician.  As many of you know, the DSL connection in our building connects and disconnects at random times and sometimes the connection is extremely slow.

I’ve gone about making some improvements to the networking in the building and have contacted Qwest concerning our DSL connection problems.  Tomorrow (3/26), a Qwest technician will be on site to check the building’s line.  I have been told that the line serving the DSL is either suffering from line noise or “line ramming” from a previous line.  Hopefully, after the tech checks out the line, the problems of constant disconnections and speed will be fixed.
