Passion for Parks, May 19

The Second Annual Passion for Parks event will take place Saturday, May 19, and volunteers will be making improvements to the historic Burns and Sopris Gardens at City Park.

Planned revitalization projects include constructing gravel and concrete walkways; planting trees, shrubs and flowers; and laying sod. Community volunteers will help with the improvements to the park, to be followed by a community-wide celebration featuring live music and entertainment.

* All volunteers will receive a t-shirt, coffee and refreshments.
