Congratulations to Turntable Studios for winning the “Rise to the Challenge Award” given by the U.S. Green Building Council.
The Colorado Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council’s second annual USGBC’s Commercial Real Estate Green Building Awards were held Tuesday night in Denver. “The awards are designed to celebrate these green building leaders and honor the projects they have worked on over the past year,” according Patti Mason, executive director of U.S. Green Building Council Colorado and one of the judges who chose the winners.”
Turntable Studios is a 13-story, 94,000 SF former hotel next to Sports Authority Field that has been transformed into Denver’s first micro apartment project. Consisting of 179 converted apartments, with 168 studios at 339 square feet, four one-bedrooms at 664 square feet and seven two-bedrooms at 820 square feet, Turntable Studios allows for lower income residents to be close to where they work. The re-use building has energy-efficient windows, LED lighting and is close to public transportation.
Starting this week, Boutique Apartments will be conducting construction tours of Turntable Studios, Denver’s first micro-apartment community.
Located at 1975 Mile High Stadium Circle, Turntable offers 168 completely renovated, space-efficient studios. Each apartment has been redesigned with clever built-in storage, a juliet balcony, and brand new kitchenettes, complete with a space-saving convection microwave oven and induction cooktop. Also available are a limited number of larger 1-br and 2-br penthouse apartments. Community amenities include a top-floor resident lounge, outdoor pool and grilling area, workout facility, covered bike racks, skyline or mountain views, additional storage, and reserved parking.
